Everything on this webpage is copyrighted material. And the thing is, I don't own any of the copyrights. So the bottom line: Don't go and perform, reproduce, or record any of the information here without permission from the people who actually do own the copyrights. I'm presenting it here with the desire that people will find it helpful. Hopefully visitors to this website will realize some of the wonder in Rich Mullins' music that I have found. I have no economic interest (the webpage is actually costing me money, not making me any!) in this copyrighted material, except to promote the artist and encourage the purchase of the albums presented.

I have made a genuine attempt to contact the copyright holders and request permission to include the material on my webpage. Permission has been received for the Release Magazine articles, the CCM Magazine articles, the album and concert reviews, the midi files, the interviews, and the guitar chords. In spite of my efforts (via email, U.S. mail, and phone) to contact Reunion, I have never received a reply, which would be regarding the lyrics and sound clips. Listed at the bottom of each lyric page (as well as below) are the copyright holders of the songs on that album.

I do feel that this is an important issue that we as Christians should be concerned about. Even in the context of the world wide web, where plagarism and blatant stealing seem particularly rampant, we need to be careful to respect the rights of the musicians and management who bring this music to us as a part of their career. In Rich's case, a good portion of the royalties received for his music are donated to Compassion International and other organizations he was involved with during his lifetime. My hope is that this webpage can properly present Rich's message to be shared with the internet community without violating the copyrights that are associated with the music, writings, etc that make up that message.

In addition to the copyrights on the information presented in my webpages (the lyrics, magazine articles, audio clips of songs, etc.) I also copyright the html code that I have written. Some have asked why I do this, and I do wish this were unnecessary, but I have found several instances of my code being reproduced on other webpages without asking me or giving me credit for them. This truly does hurt me personally because it essentially steals html that represents a great deal of my own time and effort, and passes it off as someone else's.
