Goober turned 50, but I forgot to send a card, and I didn't get invited to 
the party.

P.S.:  I was listening to the Tribute album tonight, of all things, but for a 
reason.  My favorite part turned out to be reading the liner notes.  Again.  
Also, I accidentally saw a Mayberry episode.  Ah, the good old days.  When a 
young boy can learn a lesson by observing Howard Sprague's mistakes.  But Billy 
Sprague sang A Place to Stand, and he made no mistakes.  And Howard told 
jokes on TV about friends in Mayberry.  Hey, Goob!  I saw where Ernest T. died the 
other day.  I must retire before I expire from stream of consciousness.  
Where is Sheriff Andy when order needs to be restored in life?  Oh, and I met a 
relative last Friday who is cuter than Opie.  Hey, Opiette!  You should have 
some words of wisdom ready.  Insert here: ___________.

And last but not least, I listened to the Tribute version of Save Me, 
specifically to honor Ernest T.  Who needs to be saved not only from aftershave 
admirers, but also from an aversion to wonderful Christmas songs.
