>On behalf of KTLI-FM Light 99 and Crucible Productions, I have been
>authorized to hereby officially announce a silent auction for the
>purpose of raising money to help defray the cost of building a new
>broadcast tower enabling Light 99 to attain 100,000 watts.
Well, the silent auction is over, and IMO was a success.
The winners are:
Michael Gowen - High Bid of $101.00
Mike will receive one autographed copy of the special pre-release Wichita edition of Rich Mullin's newest album - Brother's Keeper. Because he was top bidder, he also will receive the special Brother's Keeper Tour Preview cassette, and a ticket stub from the Farewell To Wichita Concert (13 May 95). Mike will have one week to respond to his individual e-mail. If no response, then we bump down the list one.
James Arthur Hastings - Second highest bid of $100.00
James will receive one copy of the special pre-release Wichita edition of Rich Mullin's newest album - Brother's Keeper. James will have one week to respond to his individual e-mail. If no response, then we bump down the list one.
The third highest bidder (in case one of the top two default on their bids) is:
Bruce A. Brown (Hey, CCM dude!)
If we have to bump down the list, Bruce will become second highest bidder, and receive the corresponding prize.
On behalf of Light 99, I would like to say thanks so much, and God Bless you for helping (or attempting) to further the ministry of a really great CCM radio station. In a world with so much garbage on the air waves, it's a real pleasure to turn on the Light. Soon with 100,000 watts, even more will have the opportunity to hear the Gospel of Jesus, and some pretty fine music, too! In appreciation to those of you who bid, but did not make it too the top, we have a gift for you. You will receive personal e-mail describing the gift. Top bidders will also receive this gift in addition to the other stuff.
As for everyone else, mark July 15th on the calendar. Brother's Keeper hits the stands on that date. I'm kind of excited to see what the cover will look like (since the Wichita cover was a special edition).
