Subject: Top 500 Countdown

Danl,
   Just thought you all would like to know that WJTL (CCM station out 
of Lancaster, PA...and the same folks who bring us the Creation 
Festival) had their Top 500 Countdown last week. The idea was for 
listeners to send in their top 5 Christian music songs of all time. 
They tallied the 1600 responses and got the totals. Rich had 7 songs 
and they place like this:
#7 - Awesome God (big surprise, huh?)
#109 - Sometimes By Step
#174 - Creed
#238 - Hold Me Jesus
#316 - Color Green
#395 - We Are Not As Strong As We Think We Are
#452 - Sing Your Praise To The Lord (the Amy Grant version made 
#192)

Another note of interest: The top 10 were:
10 - Butterfly Kisses - bob Carlisle
9 - Big Fish - Four For Harmony (which I believe is a local group)
8 - Big House - Audio Adrenaline
7 - (You Know What by You Know Who!)
6 - God - Rebecca St. James
5 - Flood - Jars of Clay
4 - Shine - Newsboys
3 - Breakfast - Newsboys
2 - Friends - MWS
1 - Jesus Freak - DCTalk

9 of 10 Jars Songs were voted in; 8 of (I believe 12) Third Day songs 
made it; the group that had the highest number of songs voted in was 
Petra with 25 or 26. Even Keith Green had 12 (nice to know his music 
is still impacting people!)
