Subject: Live At The Lamb's

Hello Danl,

I just received your letter reviewing the Chester, MD Ragamuffin Tour
Date. It sounded very much like the October 4 date they played in New
York City at The Lamb's Church/Theatre. The difference is that this
concert was actually a live broadcast radio show. Maybe you even heard
it.

Frankly, I didn't even think about making notes (mental or physical)
about the evening but Michael's review of the Chester, MD show had most
of the same elements. It was great to be able to see them. We have so
very few Christian concerts here in the New York area (its a tough
region I guess) that I'm always thrilled when a good one comes our way.
So this was a super treat!

The guys were very relaxed and seemed to enjoy themselves though they
constantly commented on how different this show was from others in that
they couldn't just run with it and play what they wanted and when. They
had to plan their songs carefully to fit between commercial breaks and
such. During the commercials we had two to three minutes to just ask
them questions and stuff. They were candid and enjoyed the interaction
I think -- this venue is quite small so it was easy for anyone to talk
and everyone to hear. There were also a lot of "Um"s and "What should
we say now?"s. It was clear they are just normal guys like the rest of
us. It seemed like there were lots of stories they would have liked to
tell but couldn't because of time constraints.

I was particularly moved by If I Stand (also lead by Aaron and including
a scripture introduction). We had the same sing-a-long closing also
including the "high-energy version Creed." I commented to my friend
Jeff that I never thought of Creed before has having such a strong
driving base line. Boy it sure did that night. I liked it!

The show was very good and God is Great!
