*** Dulcimer Question Response ***

Hi Rich Fans,

In [RichMailList 135], Glen Schmidt asks:

>I have a question (or a couple, actually)
>1) What kind of Hammer Dulcimer does Rich play? (brand and size, i.e.
>Brand x, 15/16, 16/17, fully chromatic etc.

Re: Glen Schmidt's question: I talked with Rich about what kind of dulcimer
he has back in the fall. He plays a Dusty Strings 15/14. He said that he
doesn't put a lot of money into a hammered dulcimer because he travels with
them so much.

*** Interview with Rich correction ***

In the Interview with Rich by David Wang, there is a glaring error. Quite frankly, I can't believe I didn't notice it, but Katherine Foster's sharp eye (as well as a few others) noticed that it states Rich has 12 Dove Awards, where I can only assume that he intended to say 12 Dove Award Nominations. Rich in fact has never won a Dove Award - a fact that never ceases to amaze me.

*** Screen Door Question ***

I have received this question before, tried unsuccesfully to find a resource, and now bring the question to the list.

Hello-
I am wondering if you would be able to help me. See I have a vocal ensemble,
in which I am trying to write the parts to Screen Door. I was wondering
instead of racking my brain with figuring out these parts if you would know
of any way that I could get them.
Thanks,
Karen

*** Canticle Radio Release Alert ***

Here's a heads up on a Canticle radio release from Bob Michaels, KTLI Light 99 FM Program Director -

Date: Tue, 17 Jun 1997 16:59:45
From: KTLI-FM
Subject: Rich

the first single off "Canticle" lands on Radio's desk this week. It'll be
"Heaven Is Waiting". Other singles will follow 12 weeks apart.

You may wish to tell those on your list to call in their requests, as the
lyrics and feel of this album will likely cause some stations to pass it over.
