Hi Rich fans,
I'm sure you are already aware that last Thursday evening, Rich was named "Artist Of The Year" at the Gospel Music Association 29th Annual Dove Awards. I believe that Rich's friend and manager, Jim Dunning , said it best while accepting the award with Rich's brother, David Mullins, when he offered that Rich is best artist ever. I was beginning to get a little anxious as Rich was passed over for the other four nominations he received. However, while visiting afterwards with a few people in the industry, every single person said, "Oh, I knew he would win that one." Of course, there are mixed emotions in this whole deal, as we all know how much Rich was annoyed by such "stuff of earth", but (as a wise person once told me) let's just say "thank you, Jesus" and shut up.
